THE COMPUTER AS A NEW INSTRUMENT OF EDUCATION

New technologies form the basis for universal communication today. Through them we can access the latest information and there are also real time. This has influenced education, both at school and at home, methodological changes in the teaching-learning processes. The use of ICT in schools is necessary and replaces former practices and resources.

The computer is a new teaching tool. It is used as a research tool and it is quality very motivating and attractive to students of different educational levels.

So the teacher has to acquire a new role and new knowledge.
Teachers have to teach their students how to use the Internet, its advantages and disadvantages. Therefore, teachers must promote an education in accordance with our time, by making new teaching proposals and introducing the necessary tools for this purpose.

A factor to take into account is the family environment.
It is vitally important for parents to be able to use computers and show their children now to make good use of it.

The purpose of computer is promoting: the stimulation of creativity, experimentation and manipulation, respecting the pace of student learning, fostering teamwork and research.

For people with disabilities, we could consider that computers can not be it necessary, but or on the contrary, they are indispensable.
It depending on several factors, according to the economic and cultural development of each family, the type of disability and degree of deficiency and so on.

However, I also think we should not lose the use of resources such as the old pencil and paper. These, like the computer, are important in education and society. I therefore believe that both would have to be worked equally, since they are equally important. But it is noteworthy that each of these resources has important advantages.

We can say that new technologies are now considered relevant, because, they are the basis for future learning...

Is the computer going to be a barrier or a facilitator for learning?
